Perfect Timing

Greg and I just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on August 20th. It's hard to believe it's already been five years! It feels like 2 or 3, at most. We've known each other for 10 years... the thought makes us feel so old!

 We have so much to be thankful for this year. We finally moved out of socal, Greg is out of school and working full time, I'm able to work from home, and of course, we have the most adorable baby anyone could ask for!

We had planned to wait five years before trying for a baby, but God's timing is so much better than our plans. We got pregnant the weekend Greg graduated from college, and Ethan arrived five days before my birthday. Greg accepted his job here in Oregon exactly two weeks before I was supposed to return from maternity leave. I was able to give my two weeks' notice, and right away my managing editor offered me a position with her freelance company. We have been amazed at the way things have fallen into place every step of the way, so that we are always provided for.

Here's to another five, ten, even fifty years to come :)
