We took Ethan on an outing to Old Towne Orange, because I love to poke around the antique shops and it was a nice day to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.
We looked at a lot of interesting old things, including a large display of candy dispensers, where we bought big fat gumballs for a penny. I remember buying gumballs in the grocery store as a kid. Do they even have gumball machines anymore?
When we got tired of antiques (or when I decided to give Greg a break, because he'd been tired of it pretty much right from the start!), we stopped in at the Blue Frog Cafe for a little snack.
Now I will illustrate one key difference between Greg and me. In a quaint little cafe like this, I like to order tea and cookies, or in this case, caramel mocha and a lemon bar. Greg, on the other hand, likes to order a meal... like a carne asada burrito and beer. To each his own!
To end the afternoon, we sat in the square people watching while I fed Ethan. It was pretty entertaining, especially when a wedding party showed up to take pictures there. (I didn't take any pics, sorry. They probably would've frowned on that ;) )
Good day!
