We threw Colin a small family mustache party. The kids loved it! Colin had his own mustache "smash cake," which he enjoyed until his hands were too covered in frosting, and we wore tattoo mustaches... well, some of us did. Madeleine was a party pooper and Greg has the real deal ;)
We are so thankful for our happy, healthy little one-year-old! Colin is adventurous — he loves to crawl all over the yard, up and down stairs on the deck or the play structure at the park, or even the hearth, although he can't get down once he's up there! He doesn't mind getting dirty or wet when the other kids spray him with the hose, for instance. He loves bath time and never wants to leave it! He has about 13 teeth and can cruise along the furniture, though he has yet to take his first steps on his own. He is adored by his siblings, and is quickly learning how to play with them, throwing a ball, pushing a car along the floor, and snuggling with baby dolls. He loves being outside — we know he's going to have a blast on our camping trip at the end of June! Colin is such a Daddy's boy, too... he missed Greg so much while he was in Europe, and couldn't stop giving him hugs when he walked in the door after two weeks away. He is a little love, and it's so much fun to watch him grow!
