An Answer to Prayer

I blogged not long ago about a loss of income and a need for a new job situation of some kind. I was wondering if I would need to go back to work, or if Greg would be blessed with a new job to replace my lost income.

We worked hard not to worry or stress, looking back at the ways God has provided for us in the past, and knowing He would do it again, somehow.

Today Greg accepted a job at Nike WHQ. This is a dream come true for him. It may not be the ideal job in the ideal department, but getting into corporate is a huge accomplishment. In the years to come, he can move around within the company and try new things. The important thing is, after dreaming his whole life of working for Nike, he's doing it. How many people can say their childhood dream came true? My awesome, hardworking, hopeful and faithful husband can :)

We've been in Oregon not even two years, and he has accomplished his goal. And it was perfect timing. He had been applying for jobs there for some time, but he was offered one just when we needed it most. How is that for God making Himself known?
